
ABOUT DR. GILMORE

Dr. Juline Gilmore has twenty years of teaching experience, primarily as a private voice teacher and performance coach. While at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, she was an adjunct professor of voice, teaching classes in diction, opera history, and song literature as well as private voice instruction. She has maintained a private home studio for 15 years, teaching children through adults. Currently, Dr. Gilmore runs Gilmore Voice Studio in Erie, Colorado. She has been an adjudicator for competitions and festivals, as well as an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
Dr. Gilmore holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, a Master of Music degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory, and a Bachelor of Music degree from New Mexico State University. She teaches beginning to advanced students, with an emphasis on healthy singing and expressive interpretation. She provides instruction in sight singing and diction, as well as audition and competition preparation. Dr. Gilmore works with all styles of music including classical, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary music.
Her goals as a teacher are to help each student to develop a free, healthy technique and to encourage a deeper appreciation of the art of music.
